1. Do I have to be Chicano/Latino to attend the conference?
No, you do not need to be Chicano/Latino to attend the conference. We welcome all students and individuals from different cultural, racial, and ethnic backgrounds that are interested in pursuing a career in health-related professions or higher education in general.
2. Do I have to be pre-med to attend the conference?
No, we welcome all students interested in any health related field such as public health, health policy/law, nursing, physician assistant, social work, physical and occupational therapy, psychology or counseling, among other fields.
3. If I am attending the conference with a large group, does each person need to register individually?
Yes, we ask that each person register individually so that we may have an accurate head count for supplies. If you are part of a high school that is attending and requesting a bus from us, please send us a list of all the students that'll be transported by bus.
4. Is there a registration fee to attend the conference?
Community college students and undergraduates will be asked to provide a $5.00 donation. High school students are free of charge.
5. Will transportation be provided for high school students?
Transportation will be provided under two conditions:
a. There must be between 50 - 65 students coming from your school.
b. If the first condition is met, the high school must e-mail a list of names to the following CCM Board Members:
